First thing, norton has a fucking fake impression of security expert out there.. every dumb and noobie recommends NAV to each other and make the life of techs horrible.. After installation, your computer will be no longer any better than a 486Dx running windows xp.

who the fuck is norton to decide what firewall i want to use.. hell how the heck they know my preference.. and worst than that..who the hell are they so make changes to my computer without my permission..
Windows is a 1% bad OS..99% bad softwares..
Then NAV cant catch piece of shit viruses.. much smaller vendors are doin better than shitty norton.. if Peter Norton did not sell his company to symantec.. he wouldnt be divorced today

i worked at a school for a year. had to install NAV on every kids laptop - that they owned so most machines weren't that up to date in the hardware sense.
so, quite regularly a kid would come back after they found that NAV was making their machine run about as fast as a fucking moribund slug stuck in a bucket of tar. i felt really guilty about having to install it but it was the school policy - anyway, i quit the job. i fucking hate NAV and i fucking hate that job.
